Jennifer is one of New Zealand’s first fully accredited intimacy coordinators and directors, training under Ita O’Brien (Intimacy on Set).  She has coordinated over 60 productions ranging from theatre and opera to TV drama, comedy and feature film. As President of Equity NZ, she has been instrumental in developing Intimacy Guidelines for Stage and Screen for the NZ screen and live performance sector and is on the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator registry.

 

Her screen credits include TV series, The Wilds (Disney); Creamerie – Series 1 & 2 and Double Parked (Kevin& Co); Testify (Warners); Ahikāroa series 3, 4 & 5 (Kura Productions); Choose Love (Netflix); Madam (Tavake Ltd) and numerous short films and web series. Her stage credits include Six Degrees of Separation (ATC), The Writer (Silo Theatre), Semele, Macbeth and Cosi Fan Tutte (NZ Opera) and Rent (Court Theatre).

 

She has taught workshops on best practice for intimate scenes for The Directors and Editors Guild of NZ, Te Pou theatre; The Actors’ Program; Proudly Asian Screen Collective (PASC); Toi Whakaari; Catch Casting; Covert Theatre; Howick Little Theatre; Auckland University School of Music and The Equity Foundation.
